Snow
Dove
Quietly, I have fallen, like the snow.
Slowly, drifting, in a whisper of a sound, I've landed into a pile of coldness.
I find myself listening for the sounds of love, but it is silenced by
the blanket of cold that surrounds me.
Joy escapes me, as my tears melt the flakes upon my face.
I stand for peace, but peace I cannot find buried in the depths of this
sorrowful cold.
Cooing softly, mournfully, is the song and the cry of the Snow Dove.
